Sue Burkhart and Ed Vadas: Buy Disc Please!

The Instruments used on the CD include a Martin D16-EC guitar, a 1996 Gibson J30 guitar, Phoenix Mandolins made by Rolfe Gerhardt, and Horner Marine Band harmonicas. When we perform live we include a National El Trovador Resonator, an Ovation Parlor Guitar made exclusively for Sue by Ovation Instruments. For amplication we absolutely love AER amplifiers. We use two--one for Ed's vocal and guitar and one for Sue's vocal and guitar. They work great even in large, crowded rooms. We use the AER Compac 60s. And finally, for strings: Ed uses pretty much anything he can get his hands on...hahaha...and Sue uses Elixir Phosphor Bronze Lights. For slides Ed uses a big, ol' brass slide and Sue uses a Jim Dunlop pinky slide. That's the gear folks!

In late August 2007, Ameri-mf-cana, based out of western Massachusetts, recorded and produced this debut CD at Derek Studio in Dalton, MA, the same studio where Berkshire legend Arlo Guthrie records his projects. It was pressed at Disc Makers in New Jersey. At $10 with a $2 shipping fee, we feel it is important to get our music out there.
